My story
From a Jeep Wrangler and a dream to the South Bay's Most Trusted Name in Real Estate.
I arrived in the South Bay in June of 2004 with a Jeep Wrangler, a few dollars, and a one-way ticket from Connecticut. I landed in Hermosa Beach, renting one side of a duplex bungalow on Monterey and 2nd Street. The Lakers were in the Finals. Hermosa was alive and well. I was in love with all of it.
I stayed in Hermosa for the next four years, met my wife at a party, and after a year of courtship she pulled me out of Hermosa and into West Torrance. We rented near Anza and Emerald for a few years before buying our first home in 2018 at Spencer Estates on Spencer and Earl. We loved the house and the community — but we longed for a backyard.
In 2021, we ran an experiment. I listed our Torrance home at $1,148,000. Seven days and 14 offers later, we were in escrow at $1,260,000.
"A new price record for the City of Torrance. A record I later broke myself, and still hold to this day."
While that home was in escrow, we found our next one in Rancho Palos Verdes — a 1950s track home fixer. We went up against 17 offers and won. We renovated it, game-planned the strategy, and executed. Today I live there with my wife, our two kids, and our dog. I couldn't be happier.
That personal journey — buying, selling, renovating, winning competitive offers, setting price records — is the foundation of everything I bring to my clients. I'm not reciting a playbook. I've lived it.
Being a buyer and seller myself means I fully understand the weight of what my clients are going through. The excitement. The apprehension. The ups and the downs. When I take a new listing, my client's goals are square on my shoulders. I will find any hiccups in advance and solve them in real time. I will communicate often. I will get you to the finish line.
"The kid who packed a Jeep in Connecticut and drove toward something better — he found it. In the South Bay."
How I work
The principles behind every transaction I run.
Hyperlocal by Design
I don't cover the South Bay broadly. I work the neighborhoods, the school districts, the blocks that I have lived in and sold in for over two decades. That specificity isn't a limitation — it's the whole edge. I know what's selling, what's sitting, what buyers in each price range are actually looking for, and which improvements move the needle before you spend a dollar on them.
Pricing is a Science
You know what happens when you overprice a home? Nothing. No showings, no offers, and a price reduction that signals weakness to every buyer who's been watching. My pricing methodology is built on current comps, active competition, days-on-market trends, and an honest read on what the market will actually bear.
Communication is Non-Negotiable
I operate efficiently and communicate often. That means no surprises between contract and close. I identify hiccups in advance, solve them in real time, and keep my clients informed at every stage. My clients don't wonder where things stand. They always know.
Your Goals Become My Goals
The satisfaction I get from navigating my clients through the process to their ultimate goal is what drives my business forward. I don't take listings to collect them. I take them to close them — at the highest price, on the best terms, with as little friction as possible.
Outside the Office
This is where I live. Not just where I work.
I live in Rancho Palos Verdes with my wife, our two kids, and our dog. On any given weekend you'll find me at the farmers market, at a local coffee shop, or walking the bluffs near our house. I know which schools the families in my listings are zoned for. I know which neighborhoods are changing and which ones have stayed the same for thirty years.
That community embeddedness isn't a marketing angle. It's what makes me better at my job than someone who drives in from outside the market to show you a house and drives back out again.
I got into real estate because I believe in what homeownership does for people. It's where memories are made, families are raised, and lives are built. Every deal I close is someone's next chapter. I take that seriously.
